Make a Decision

Right or wrong, making a decision is better than making no decision at all. That moment of brief doubt in your mind before a jump, a flying change or even leading the pushy horse, can lead to a bigger disaster in performance let alone safety. Horses thrive on leadership and if you’re not sure in a split second when the horse needs you, it’s as good as loosing your friends hand in the middle of the dance. Of course we will all make wrong or bad decisions, but that is what practice is for, to increase the probability of getting the desired action. Practice well my friends, for life is a practice run for the bigger picture.
